The Town has two main areas: the Underhill Flats area, encompassing the VT Route 15 corridor shared with the Town of Jericho and Poker Hill Road, and Underhill Center, at the intersection of River Road and Pleasant Valley Road.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Underhill Town Office is closed to the general public until further notice.
Office hours for the Town Clerk are by appointment only, 8am-3pm, Monday - Thursday. If you have questions for any other department, please contact them via email as they are working from home, and unable to monitor the phone with regularity.
Tax payments, dog license renewals, zoning applications and other payments and applications can be mailed, left in the drop box, or scanned and emailed if applicable. The late fee for dog licensing have been waived . Notary services, vehicle registrations and licenses will be discontinued until further notice.
For residence, copies of tax bills and tax status reports, lister cards, etc. can all be handled electronically. We will respond to requests via phone and email to the extent we can.
For title searchers, please call the town clerk to make an appointment to view the land records. We will practice social distancing by allowing just a couple of people in at a time.
Also, as of December 2020 public records are also available online and Title searchers do not need to come into Town Hall to complete their work. Records are available at a cost of $3 per page.

The Underhill Planning Commission is proposing the adoption of a new Town Plan that will effectively replace the 2015 Town Plan, which is set to expire on June 23, 2020. The Planning Commission will be hosting three public hearings, which will be followed by at least two Selectboard public hearings. The proposed plan can viewed by clicking here.
